The Mullany Fund have a limited number of work experience opportunities available across a variety of life sciences areas, and these are expanding all the time. If you registered for our e-Mentoring session, are engaging well on the e-Mentoring platform, and meet our work experience criteria, you are able to apply for one of the places available.
The experiences take the form of 'work exposure days' for younger students- allowing them to see the variety of life science jobs out there- to 'work shadowing' where students, could for example, spend a day in a GP surgery to understand what the job is really like.
Every year we also have a couple of places available to us for a week long work experience in London, kindly provided by University College London Hospital. Many of the students involved in e-Mentoring who have gone through the work experience have said they have benefitted hugely from the experience. Go on, give it a go...!
We're also in touch with other organsations who offer amazing work experience opportunities for students in Wales! Look out for further information about these coming soon!
