How Mullany Works with STEM Employers

Learn about our collaborations

reach

The Mullany Fund operates at the intersection of a strong network of schools and longstanding relations with employers and industry partners. We are actively seeking to build and ehnance our employer network. Longstanding employer partnerships include:

  • Scarlets Rugby – supporting physiotherapy pathways
  • Assistive Technologies Innovation Centre (ATIC), UWTSD – supporting innovation-focused mentoring and placements
  • Swansea University Nursing, Midwifery and Medicine – supporting healthcare pathways
  • Ospreys in the Community – helping reach young people outside traditional academic routes

There are so many ways that your company or team members can help us support young people. For example:

  • recruiting colleagues to become Mullany e-mentors

  • offering Career Journey talks and Q&As for young people – live webinar panels, or pre-recorded for our YouTube channel resource bank

  • hosting Career Insight Visits at your site or office

  • delivering workshops with us in schools or colleges, focused on skills and case studies in your field

  • coming with us to talk directly to young people about your career path in assemblies or STEM celebration days within schools/colleges

  • providing work shadowing, Virtual Work Experience opportunities or short work experience placements

  • focused sponsorship – like our new Mobility Grants which support schools/colleges or young people to travel to career events or experiences which will boost their CVs

  • writing us into bids as beneficiaries, as your Social Value or Community Support partner

We’ll work with you to find a package which best suits your team capacity and locations, and expresses your own Social Values as a company.
