History

At The Mullany Fund, we actively collaborate with young individuals aged 14-19 through various impactful support programs. Our dedicated initiatives are specifically designed to foster and nurture ambition and ability among young people.

The Mullany Fund was established in 2008 to support young people in South Wales who are interested in a STEM career (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Whether you’re the first person in your family who’s planning to attend university, you're a young carer or experienced in care, or maybe living with a disability -  we believe that no-one should be held back from pursuing their goals by a lack of opportunity or support. Based at Swansea University, our dedicated team of charity staff and trustees manage and deliver several programmes of impactful support designed to provide young people with opportunities to succeed; to improve confidence and build resilience; and to foster a stronger sense of agency.See ‘What We Do’ to learn more about our range of innovative programmes.
